    Addressing an invitation
    When addressing an invitaion and the wife is a physician and the huband is not, how does one appropriately address it?

    You address it as Dr. so and so and Mrs. so and so.

    No, The wife is the MD----Do you address it as Mr. John and Dr. Doe?

    You can address it as Mr. John and Dr. Jane Doe.

    Yeah, my uncle is an attorney and his wife is a doctor, this is how we address everything to them, including formal invites.

    Another way is

    Mr and Dr Smith
