    How to Solve Thermochemical equations
    A 4.0 g sample of glass was heated from 274K to 314K, a temperature increase of 40K, and was found to have absorbed 32 J of energy as heat.

    a. What is the specific heat of this type of glass?




    b.How much energy will the same glass sample gain when it is heated from 314K to 344K?

    for part a all your doing is using the formula q = mct and your solving for c

    Part b you do exactly the same as cooldude says, but putting solving for q

    To answer part B. The two temps is your delta T... final temprature minus initial temprature. You use the specific heat that you found in part A. Good Luck!
