    '''''''''''''' in chatroom.
    HI there,

I know I've asked this question once before, but I can't find the thread and it's happening again.

When I am in a chatroom ((Facebook, Farm Town chat)) I click the window and there are """"""""""""""""s in the box, my computer won't stop typing them for me. I don't know how to stop it. It's not a stuck key, because this is the only place that it does it...

    What's going on?

**If the thread is found, please merge. Thank you**

No, it's apostrophes in the typing field. They interrupt typing... I can leave my cursor there and they just keeping being typed (as if I'm holding the key down).

I went on my Facebook chat Cherry - didn't happen to me :(

Maybe if you restart your PC?

If it's Farm Town Just refresh the page by going to another market or real estate office. Farm Town glitches like that all of the time. Try that and let me know if it self-fixes. Farm Town is still in Open Beta so issues like this occur all of the time, it's not your PC that's the issue if it's only doing that in one application, it's the application or Facebook.

It's been doing that for the past two months, and I've refreshed and all that. It does it EVERY SINGLE time. And it does it in a few other chatrooms as well.

Are they all on Facebook, or MySpace as well? Typically that's an internal issue, are the applications from the same provider? Like Playfish does the RestaurantCity and Bowling apps?

IF I am guessing right it's most likely an issue with the scripting in chat then. Do you know if it's java or some other flash for chatting? (Typically you can find this info on the site for where you are chatting.)
And IF that IS the issue, if they are all the same script program, try uninstalling the program and reinstalling it. Most of the time uninstalling and reinstalling will fix the issue.

But that will only possibly fix it if they are the same program. If that doesn't help then I am at a loss without looking at it myself. I'm dense like that, I wish I could help you more.

They're both Java, I believe. I will try that. Thank you.

It was actually Adobe Flash, and I downloaded their newest version, and the issue still persists.

Dang, that leaves me with no clue then. I'll ask one of my techie buddies who revel in those kind of fixes.

No, they are lazy asses who never call a girl back and steal out of my MMO coffers. Maybe I should refer Scott, he is a tech savvy guy. *wiggles eyebrows*
