Search:

Enter *8 followed by your installer code (alarm light will go red)
Enter 301 (nothing will happen)
Enter the area code and phone number
Enter # twice (once to exit 301 and once to exit programming...

Actually I have programmed a pager number into section 301 of the programming and it works perfectly. You just have to remember to also set section 350 to "05" which is for pagers as it is default...
