    Hampton Bay remote wires do not match fan wires

    There is no guarantee that any other brand will work with a Hunter product. Purchase a Hunter remote and it should work fine. ;)

    Sounds like they are a "DC" type base. If you still haven't found the bulbs try a store in New York NY called Just Bulbs. I'm in the lighting business, I refer people to them quite offten.

    There are generic remote controls on the market. This will give you speed control and dimming ability. However if you want reversing you must use the same manufactures remote.

    Hampton Bay Track Head light

    At the base of the light fixture you should find a locking collar. Gently pull it down and rotate the base 90 degrees. To reinstall pull the collar down insert the base and twist.
