Hiya!
As far as I'm aware, hydroquinone is banned and not Arbutin.
Good luck with your creams!
-
At the moment I'm using an arbutin cream I got off eBay. It's not *that* expensive. Just type in Skin Bright lightening. It's like under £5. But I've used it on and off because of my acne. It has...

I think it was a few weeks, maybe 2 weeks. I really can't remember, it was last year when I used this.
Not really sure why I stopped? Maybe because I'm simply a product junkie and love to try new...

It does smell a bit rancid, doesn't it?
I learned to live with it. :p
-
Cool, Weezing! I've heard of the soap but not actually read anything about it. I might give it a try.
I messaged you about where you can get the Arbutin cream. The lady that sells them does and...

What's that soap like, Weezing? I need a good cleanser. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :D
Also, just now I'm using an arbutin cream for my pigmentation. It was quite cheap. Just under £5.00 :)

Never mind. I found it EUROPA - Consumer Affairs - Unsafe products
So looks like it's just the lotion? Gosh, this is shocking news! I feel betrayed!
-
Which website did you get this from?
-
Have any of you used the oil on your face?
-
I've never mixed them together. But I've read the oil is the strongest! The cream broke me out, so I switched to the lotion. I found them 2 quite similar. :)
-
I have quite acne prone skinn too. The cream did not help, but switching to the lotion helped.
-
I doubt Bio Claire will make you look that white!!
The only thing that can make you white is monobenzone but then that is for vitiligo patients. If a normal skinned person used it, they could end...

Ahh. I'm from the UK too. You should be using an SPF, even if it's winter because the UV rays still come through the clouds. I use SPF15 which is in my foundation.
-
Stick with it for a few more weeks. Are you using sunblock by the way? :)
-
I don't know. I'm not a moderator. Ask Curlyben or RickJ.
-
Yes, you could! Apply the cream to the uneven areas.
But I think something like meladerm would probably be best for you to use.
-
The crème broke me out so I switched to the lotion. The lotion appears to be formulated for acne/oily/combination skin.
-
I meant they both lighten :p And the lotion is more suited for oily/acne prone skin. The cream broke me out loads!
-
I have acne prone skin and the cream did break me out. So I switched to the lotion. I find they both do the same thing. The lotion was developed for people like us ;)

Again - Bio Clair does not contain hydroquinone. Maybe it did years ago, but now they have taken out that ingredient and put on the label that it contains no hydroquinone.
-
From reading that article, I've seen this was written in 2006 which was a while ago. So maybe Bio Clair took out the hydroquinone and have now labeled it saying it contains no hydroquinone.
I...

What I love about Bio Claire is that it's very cheap to buy and seemed to have worked for me. The other product I tried was DS (Too expensive!) and gave me dark patches! But the black soap was good.

Hey guys!
Bio Claire have proved to be a successful product for many on this forum. It lightens and brightens the skin. Unfortunately some members have had some sort of allergic reactions to it...
