If you are wanting to get into lots of offroading I would go with a "lockrite" by Richmond it is cheap an works really well.

I had the same problem an I took mine apart and cleaned the lense with a q-tip an some alcohol. It works good now but the lense still needs cleaning every so often.

Sony has more game titles under there belt, though Microsoft is tough competitor. The downfall of 360 is you can't play old xbox games, and the ps3 is compatible all the way back to ps1. 360 already...
