That's an easy replacement. You can get the part at any hardware store. I recommend changing the supply tube at the same time

Most likely you need to change your fill valves. On most toilets the Fluidmaster 400 is a good replacement. I also recommend a new supply tube at the same time.

I suggest you call the pump manufacturers and see what they recommend. Other good companies are Pro Series Pumps and Zoeller.

Does it sound like the pipe itself rattling or something caught in the pipe banging around? This really bears further inspection. I suggest you pull your toilet to investigate further.

Make sure to clean as much sediment as you can off the bottom of the tank so the bottom element is not sitting in sediment. If you didn't do that before the bottom element is probably done for.
