Ok, small problem. How in the world do you get the air gap out? I loosened the plastic nut from under the sink but it only unscrews so far due to the bottom of the pipe y'ing out. It won't pull out...

So my dryer does not get hot AND it will not shut off. It will just keep running until you turn it off or unplug it. Everything else works fine. Any ideas?
