    Find my 401K retirement accounts
I rolled a 401K account over when I left a job at least 8 years ago. I thought the account was with JPMorgan Chase, but they can't find anything on file. I never added anything to the 401K so it is worth less then $1000. The statements were going to my moms, but she moved and didn't keep any of the mail. Any suggestions on how I can find these funds?

You rolled your old 401(k) plan to an IRA when you left that job 8 years ago, not to the 401(k) of your next employer - correct? One suggestion: the IRA custodian may have concluded that you are "missing," and if so may have turned the funds over to your state. Try researching the unclaimed financial accounts for your state - see: NAUPA
