How long does this no eat no sleep phase last?
So I've been broken up for 2 days now. And I can't eat except a few bites a day. This is not healthy for me I am very skinny already (size 0) and I have hypoglocemia (sp?). I used to pass out when I didn't eat. But its like food is disgusting. I also couldn't sleep at all the night we broke up. And today since I know now were really breaking up and this isn't just a bad dream I can't sleep. Its christmas in the morning. How long does this last? And is there anything I can do besides just wait.

Try no sleep/no eating during finals week. Ugh. Bad timing.

The eating, as missinghim2much said, gets easier.

Surround yourself with some friends, maybe a best friend, and tell him/her what's up. He/she'll try to force you to eat, or at least take you out to eat and stuff and get your mind off him. It'll help.

As far as sleeping, since my breakup was during finals week, a few of my friends decided to come study with me, and I slept while they were here... so it helped a little. If you have a best friend that you can ask to sleep over maybe a day or two... it really helps. If not, try to watch a movie/tv until you fall asleep. If not, exercise vigorously right before bed. You'll be so exhausted you'll pass out. Try one.

Get you some vita water, it is sold at most grocery stores or quick marts. It has very mild flavor and tons of vitamins in it. When you do manage to eat make sure it is not junk but something that will stay with your system longer. At least take a few bites every couple of hours. I have hypoglycemia and going with out food and letting your blood sugar levels drop, can cause all types of emotions the lower it gets. So do your body and emotions a favor and eat something.

Just my way of thinking, anything that disrupt the eating or sleeping cycle, needs to be handled by a professional after a few days. Also know that it takes a while for the emotional fallout, to settle and be forewarned not to invest so deeply again. Some like myself have learned our lessons the hard way.
