    Land Contract Gone Real Bad In Michigan

    I Sold A Home On Land Contract In Michigan
    Buyers Will Not Pay I Went Through The Whole Eviction
    Still No Hope. Just A Judgement They Have 90 Days To Pay But They
    Can Pay The Past Due For The Judgement And Not The Current Then They Will Have Another 90 Days To Come Up With This Other Past Due Well Mean While The Judge Gave Me A Imeadiate Eviction To Put Them Out Which I Did But Then The Next Day The Judge Made Me Give Them Back The Property .
    My Question __ They Have Not Moved Back In And The Home Is Vacant
    How Do I Get My Home Back Helpless In Michigan

    Do you have an attorney? Sounds like you need one. At the very least you need to go back to the judge to clarify the current standing. If they haven't paid they have violated the contract. You need to get the judge to issue an order that the contract is void and the property is back under your control. Then you can change the locks.

    Had a land contract and it ends in may 2010, however tenant lost his job is relocating and has the home back on market. He has defaulted on two months payments so far. Realestate person found a new buyer wanting to land contract for 3 years and his commission will come out up front. Should I hold out for at least a short sale as we are retired now and cannot afford two homes in two states.
