    Black Shadows?
    My father passed away 2 years ago, not only have I seen, but so has my daughter and my brother have seen black shadows at my home, or even outside of the house. Do you know what Black Shadows are? Are they good or evil? Is it something from my dad passing? Any help that anyone can give to me would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello friend!! tamaraann maybe that black shadow is your father... all I can say is that maybe your father has a message something to say to you or maybe he has miss something to do when he is still alive... and he is going to tell that message to your family... for his savior... and finally for his silence... friend... just pray for GOD is always there at your side... I hope this message can help you...

    Deja-Vu is a glitch in the synapses. It is something that happens in less than a split second giving you the impression that you have experienced it before... And you have... Just a split second ago. It is cause by the information going in but not registering long enough to be processed by the brain... It is like a split second misfiring.

    Seeing things like black shadows out of the corner of your eye or in a dimly lit room is like Deja-Vu... You see it... You don't know what it is... You are afraid... Then your imagination kicks in and it is whatever you imagine it to be... All in a split second.

    It happens so fast that your brain does not have time to process what it sees... And your imagination does the rest.

    It is basically a trick of the mind. And you should only experience it two or three times in your whole life... Because the brain catches on fast and it won't make THAT mistake again.

    Shadows caught in your peripheral vision should be ignored and they will go away just as quick as they came.

    Hello-I live in a rented home in Broward,Florida and I have been seeing a black shadow walk across my hall. At first I didn't think anything of it.Then the second time I was like "well maybe its something or maybe its nothing".Then recently my fiancé told me that he kept hearing noises in the house when he was alone(only when he's alone) and I said maybe it's a spirit. At that moment my father walks in on our conversation (he lives with us)and said that he too hears noises and that he even sees a black shadow walk across the hall. I made him show me exactly where in the house( we live in a 5 bedroom-pretty big house) and it happens to be the same place that I see it.Also-his girlfriend saw a white,slender man at my fathers bedroom doorway. Well-doing research we asked the landlord and it came to find out that the first owners of the home passed while residing in this house.He was a white,slender athletic man. So I believe that the black shadow is a "spirit". I don't feel it is harmful-we've been here for 6 months already. My fiancé doesn't feel too comfortable knowing this,but for now we are still here. This has never happen to anyone of us before it is a little freaky-but as long as we don't get bothered its okay.-Marlen

    They could be shadow people but I don't think that would be related to your dad's dying.
    Some people say they think they are from a different dimension than ours.

    HEy I know its been a wqhile since this was posted but I think I can answer your question. A few years ago my grandmother died since then I've seen the black shadows every time I see them some one dies. Ive come up with a theory of a being that we may consider shadow men. They are dark shadow entities that I think take the soul from the body. It is from what I can gather when the person who is dying sees them time stops and its really cold. I know this sounds like a science fiction but I've seen them. There terrifing... The only name I can think to give them are reepers.

    Many people who encounter these have the distinct impression they are not human ghosts. In my recent investigations, that was my perception, too. However, if you strongly feel that what you are seeing is connected to your dad, then don't let me talk you out of it. Hunches can be important in cases like this. It is also possible that because of his death, you are more receptive to seeing such things than usual, even though the shadow beings are not directly connected to your dad. The death of a loved one is a profound experience, and it shifts our mental awareness to a somewhat different level.

    Hi Adler. I am new on here and I just posted a request for help in getting some experience in investigating the paranormal. After reading your reply, I guess I posted it in the wrong category. Anyway, I would love to help investigate the shadow people.

    I don't think the black shadow would be your father. Your father would probably not want to scare you or hide in that way. He would probably give you a sign if he did come back.

    The black shadows could be troubled spirits or devils. They say suicides can come back that way. I saw one and by asking the hotel desk I found out there had been a suicide.

    well... it happened to me too yesterday that's why I started to search on it today... I don't know anything if anyone died. I was just very late up and... well not because I'm proud of it... x~x and sorry to say this but I think its important that you people get the full story xD... well I was standing there... wanking... and suddenly I saw something black (with a human size) Just really fast in my eye cornor to the right and it was so real that I thought it was my bro that came out so I fast turned my head and it was gone x__x and I know most people would say that I saw something that wasn't there like my eyes was playing a trick on me or something but it felt so real. I was honestly really scared and I went to bed and couldn't sleep =/
