I have an old Moen Remko single handle faucet in kitchen. I need to re-tighten the loose faucet. I have the tightened tool but in order to use it you have to remove the spray hose.
Various websites say to pinch together the white tabs on the connector and then just disconnect. I can pinch them together, but the connector doesn't come off? Is there a trick?

Pinch, push hoseup slightly and hold to release connecting barb and then pull down. Some other Moen units you push the white ring up and while holding it up, pull the hose down.
