I have started cutting sense I was young, but there's only one that you can really see on my right upper arm and won't go away and its kind of deep. I won't be getting a tattoo till I'm old enuff but want to know if I should do something else before a tattoo.

I've been free from cutting for 2 mounts and one week! :)

Do you want a tattoo ? If you want one to have one, get it, if you really don't want it, just hiding, a scar is a scar, I have 100's of them all over.

Grats on being cut free!! My sister is struggling with this currently and I can't wait for the day she can say she is cut free.

I'm with chuck on this. If you want a tattoo, whether you have the scar or not, get it and use it to cover. If you don't want a tattoo. It's a bad idea to get one when you don't want one.
