I'm nearly 16 and have been in a sexual relationship for a year and half now. Recently, I went abroad on holiday and during my time there I was supposed to have a period, but I did not. I am also on the pill and have a selected week for a period to begin. I don't think I'm pregnant, is there anything else that could have prevented my period?

It may have just been the change due to the travel... for some women this is enough to throw off their cycle.

Were your pills taken on time? Missing some here and there can change things sometimes as well.

Since pregnancy is always a possibility, it would be wise to try a pregnancy test to know for sure.
