I have a Uniden Bearcat 855 XLT scanning radio. When I turn on the unit, nothing at all happens. I hooked my volt meter up to the AC plug, and get a reading around 16 volts. Not sure if I'm supposed to be getting 110 or not. I took it apart, plugged it in, and hooked the volt meter up to the rear of where the AC plug inserts, and am getting around 15 volts. I can't find a fuse anywhere on the inside like I've found on TV sets before. It might just be completely dead, but if anyone out there has any suggestions on and troubleshooting tips, I would greatly appreciate it.
