It means next to capilary tube inlet
It should be in the outlet , not in the inlet , what will happen ? Many thanks :confused:

The defrost bimetal has to be installed in the area devoted to it on the evaporator coil. It was engineered to fit in that location so the refrigerator will defrost properly.
Why would you want to move it?
Mr hvac1000 thank you , I did not remove bimetal , it was in the inlet from the beginning
Best to leave it there.
