I want to make it memorable for us...
To be honest, I'm turning 17 and I'm currently in a relationship. Many of these past relationships have been flukes and after a while, I nearly lost my interest in romance and became a little dry, but I met this guy and he's amazing and has a completely different "light" to him and I have never been so close to someone in a while. Our relationship is getting very serious and intimate and we've already been to the point where we confirmed our mutual desires to become engaged. Though, what's keeping my mind thinking and constantly scrambling around is HOW and WHERE to do it. I want to engage to him, but I want the day to be more than just THE day I proposed but a day like no other to remember. I know it's pretty early, but it doesn't hurt to preplan something as important as this. This is more an opinion question so please, give me any ideas you can, but please keep it realisticly affordable. I'm already planning on purchasing an engagement ring that is $899.99, or is that too much for an engagement ring? Maybe that would be more a marriage ring, not sure.

Umm OK I believe that 17 is a little early to be getting engaged... and if you do get engaged make it a long engagement, be safe and be happy, make sure things will work out for the both of you, maybe once you turn 18 live together and see where that takes you so you do not make a mistake

Is this a same sex relationship? Usually it's the guy that buys a ring and proposes.
