    Computer purchase vs newer iPod
    I'm looking for an opinion.

I don't need a phone with me except for emergency. Any calls I make, I make
At home (you prob gathered I'm pretty old)... I carry a flip phone with me.

I have a MAC of course, and my iPod. It's old but I can get email and most
Importantly my game of words with friends. I get FB and lots of other
    Stuff, music... camera

The problem is, I can't use the iPod everywhere because I need wifi. I could
    Use a GPS... Also
My screen has been cracked for a year (I sat on it). I am def not a tech
Person and would have to learn to transfer all my stuff to an iPhone or
    Ipod. Which would you choose?

Im hoping your meaning iPad and not iPod. You can get one for faily cheap from a pawn shop if you look around that can do everything you need it to do.

You will still need WiFi whichever you choose.

    Ipod... what's wrong with iPod?

I thought iPhones can be used anywhere, even in your car... so some must
    Work without wifi?

For games, FB, etc you will still need WiFi. Calls can be made without WiFi.

I did forget to mention that if you get a phone plan with an unlimited data package you will not need WiFi.

Thank you... I needed opinions to decide... I realize I really need a gps too
So I will get an iPhone... and hopefully the geek squad can help me transfer
All my emails etc from my iPod to my iPhone. Meanwhile I am having a new
    Problem and will post that...

I think Tmobile has a data only plan for cellular connected devices other than phones for think it was $37 I used to have one before I got my Note 8, and there are apps that will let you use it for a cell phone... with Android anyway. Not an apple guy.

If you have a partner, they have an over 55 plan thats hard to beat, $120 for two phone lines unlimited data. Only the primary needs to be over 55. No discount for one line which is the same as both would be.
