We have a GE Profile side by side refrigerator which has a terrible smell from rotten seafood. I am trying to get the smell out. We have cleaned everything that we can see but I do not know how to get to the drain pan to clean it. Can you help me with getting to the drain pan so that I can clean it. I think it may be the source of our remaining smell. Also, any advice you have on removing the odor would be appreciated. The refrigerator model number is PSS26MGPA WW. Thank you.

The drain pan will be located at the bottom of unit. Many times on top of the compressor. You can access either from the back side of unit or by removing the kick panel on front side. Open a box of baking soda to remove smell from inside of unit. You can also get a can of evaporator cleaner form an appliance parts house and spray on the evaporator to help remove smell.
