Greetings and WELCOME to the site, Janice Fannon!

I moved your question out of Introductions to this forum topic area so that it will be more likely to be noticed and addressed by those who are best able to answer it. Your question will get noticed much more here.

Introductions is for people to introduce themselves only, and we try to not ask questions there. We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little bit about yourself, if you would be willing to do that.

Concerning your question, do you know approximately how old the piano is? Is it a vertical or grand of some kind? Also, has it been tuned on a regular basis, hold to standard pitch and does everything work, please?

I've been a piano tuner/technician since 1974. One of the things that I do is evaluate pianos. I can tell you what it might be worth monetarilly, but I'll need a lot more information.

I did need to remove your email address from your post to protect your privacy. I would hate to see you get spammed because your email address was exposed on this site. Also, once a thread has been started, all information needs to stay on the thread so that others who might have a similar question can benefit by the information that's shared.

    Thanks!
