    Ultrasound results
I recently had a neck and throat ultrasound. The results showed a nodule in the left thyroid that should be biopsy and also several cervical lymph nodes enlarged with one on the left side showing circumferential cortical thickening? What does this change in the lymph node mean?

Why didn't you ask the doctor this?

I have not seen my doctor yet and I like to be informed about issues when speaking to the doctor.

Seems you are well versed in medical jargon. How did you come by this professional information regarding your ultrasound obviously done by a specialist? Were you not referred by your doctor ? Are you a nursing student ?

We don't have doctors on this site who could give you this information.

I seen my results on mychart, which shows all results of any and all medical tests I have done. No I'm not a nursing student, I was doing a search for medical advice and came across this site. I was only inquiring to see if anyone had any advice on this result, since I'm not scheduled to see my doctor until November.

One would have to be a doctor to advise you on this. Sorry, no doctors on this site.

I think you should consult with a physician.
