    Hair test in two weeks
On October 3rd I took two 10mg adderalls. I have a hair test on November 3rd, is this low level one time use going to show up? What are the odds I pass the test?

You are going to find out because there is nothing you can do to cheat or lie... everything is permanently locked into your hair follicles.

I'm not going to try and cheat it. I'm not buying any hairwash and I'm not going to cut off all my hair. I was just wondering if anyone had similar experiences

Hair tests are used to identify prolonged habitual use of many illegal, semi-legal, and prescription drugs. For example if you smoked two bowls of pot on a Saturday of a long weekend, the THC from that would be deposited into your growing hair. When they do the hair analysis they will grind up a known amount of hair and measure the amount of each chemical in the hair. The pass or fail comes whether you have more than an acceptable amount in your hair.

I would bet on you not having enough in your hair for it to come back as a fail. That being said, it is very dangerous and illegal to take prescription drugs for which you have NO prescription for. Don't do that any more. Keep your butt out of prison.

None of those washes work at all anyway... they are a scam. Similar experiences mean nothing. Two people might do the same amount of the same thing on the same night and one will pass and the other will fail.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. Even-though adderall is an amphetamine it won't be picked up in the screening process therefore it would not go to GC/MS for confirmation. But if the drug class of amphetamines is sent straight to GC/MS confirmation (which skips the screening process) it is possible that adderall could show up. But in your case you didn't do enough to have it show up anyway. Hope this makes sense.

It really depends on the policy, and procedure of the ones ordering the tests, and even though I think your levels are too low to detect, a court can order a more extensive test be taken, or ask for a doctor verification on what they did detect.

Is this court ordered, or job required? Either can test for any common street drug abuses. Hope you have a DATED prescription. Generally, a one time low dose use doesn't rise to detectable levels depending on how long ago that use was.
