    PC into TV
    Hi, Avel,
    Here is a link:

    http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article...,115627,00.asp

It explains what you need, with step-by-step how to do it.

There is also an Electronic Convention going on in Las Vegas, with Microsoft and Sony leading the way for using computers, tv's, games, etc, all-in-one computer.
Sounds like it will a little time yet before all this is available to the public! One CNN reporter said one must have a degree from MIT to understand it!
    Anyway, best of luck.

You need a tuner card (assuming you have cable). Example:

If I turned my PC into TV, can I still use my PC as a PC... I mean the way it was before...... :D...

And may I know if there is any disadvantage using this kind of system, will it harm my PC... what if a virus entered in my PC, does the TV affected too...

I guess that depends on what you did to turn it into a TV. Personally I can watch TV, Watch a video, listen to music and surf the internet. Tried it once just to see if I could do it. I would imagine that if you got a virus it might affect the TV watching only because of the software that is installed to do that.

    Another Tuner
I use the Winfast Tv 2000 Xp Deluxe tuner, and it works great also, it can be found under $50 on the net or maybe at stores in your area.

It has the Titan Tv guide package with it, you can set the DVR through that and record any program you want and burn it to Cd or DVD to play on DVD anytime you want, I use a DVD authoring program to cut out the commercials on things I want to keep.

I have read that Hauppage is one of the best newer models and if you want HDTV quality bet a Hauppage HDTV tuner.:)
