How can I evict my boyfriend from my house? He is not on the title to the house or the mortgage. He will not leave on his own, so I need to know what I have to do to get him out. I live in Ohio.

I am assuming you own the house. Call your sheriff's office, or police department, and inquire there as the legalities. But I would say that you give him 72 hours notice and tell him that is he is not gone, the sheriff will come and escort him out.
If you do not want to do that, why can't you change the locks when he is gone? Tell him he can pick up his stuff when you are there (with a witness, be it law enforcement or some neutral person).
I am not sure about the laws in Ohio, but I had the same thing happen to me here in Wisconsin. If he is not on the title, the loan or anything else proving ownership and if he does not have children that have been living there with along with him. Then you can give him a 72 hour notice (in writing) and if he isn't gone after that time, call the police just like shygrneyz said above.
Yes you tell him to leave, if he does not, change the locks, if he causes trouble call the police.
I should have added - put everything in writing - if he takes you to court - you need some documentation. It is just covering your assets.
Good luck!
I have to beg to differ with you guys but... after a run-in with my daughter's boyfriend who... they both "stay" with me on what initially was to be a temporary get back on your feet basis, my daughter called the police. After my asking about having them move out, the cop ask me if they had stayed there the night before-yes... the night before that-yes... the night before that-yes. The cop told me that I would have to evict them even though they pay no rent or bills. I haven't followed up with any legal advice but I suppose I will have to do that $$$
I really don't want to have to evict my daughter but the cop said that if I didn't that my daughter could let her scumbag boyfriend right back in.
BTW... I live in OhioQuote:

But the proper way is official notice, and then file in housing court for an eviction.
