    University Degree vs. University Diploma
Hi there... this question is meant for Canadian posters, but I'd be more than happy to hear from others as well. I currently have a BA in Psychology from a well respected university in Ontario and have recently been accepted to McGill (Montreal) for a Graduate Diploma in International Business (in the Continuing Education and Management Studies department). My question is : Is it better to just work for a few years and attempt at an MBA or is it worth it to put in 1.5 yrs to 2 yrs working on a diploma and certificate (treasury finance) and then make my move towards an MBA? The problem is that I am having a tough time finding a job in this field, and my previous certificate from an Ontario college is not doing me much good. Thoughts?

This might be a little late, but in my opinion, you should accept the McGill offer. Having a backup plan is safer than not having one at all, as you said finding a job in psychology is a little difficult. Good luck with everything! Hope all goes well.
