It is AMHD policy not to do homework - please post your answer and someone will come along to review it.

You don't learn anything if an AMHD member does the work for you.

the headline in the newspaper last year was 'nottpool raises £2 for every £1 raised by manscot'.

sanjay knows that manscot raised £150 000 last year

the total raised last year by the two bike rides was £450 000

    was the newspaper headline correct?

    I guessed yes because 450000-150000 = 300000
    150 000 x 2 = 300000

    is this correct?

    the answer I got is yes because 450 000 - 150 000 = 300 000
    150 000 x 2 = 300 000

    is this calcualtion correct?

Also this year nottpool raised £200 000 and manscot raised £50 000
what do you think this headline will say?

    I need help with this

    so far I have got 72 000m = 72 km
    15 x 72 = 1080

is this correct, how would I work out the other one

You need to figure out how many stages she completed.
The 134 km have 8 stages of equal distance. So how many km are that per stage?
