Private care/support work in people's homes
    Hello

I am a qualified learning disability nurse with extensive experience - 25 years in caring/supporting people, mainly elderly and people with dementia.

I would like to offer care/support services in client's homes and would therefore appreciate some advice on how to make a start.

I would be offering non medical support services.

    Thank You

    Christine

After all these years, you must know a lot of medical caregivers and have connections to hospitals, doctors offices, and maybe nursing homes. If I were you, I'd first make a list of all of these and then put together a brochure about myself to hand out in person. Of course, I'd focus on those who provide care to seniors and the disabled.

Do you have definite populations in mind to care for at home? As a visitor or as a live-in? To provide which services?
