Illinois is a large place, I am in Springfield and know several good places there. But no one here will go to Chicago.

I would start with your own local newspaper, or Google companies in your area. You can check them through the Better Business Bureau, and getting free estimates. This allows you to compare and judge them in person. Like an interview.
