Grandson old rifle with an old cheap scope ($8.00). 4x15 dovetail grooved
Like to move up a bit, but not too expensive. I guess the scope must have rings included for mounting. Wonder what a decent scope cost for a Glenfield model 60/ 22 caliber

There are loads on line,some cheap, some expensive. Burris is good. You will be limited because of scope mount. You can buy a dovetail to Weaver mount and then you can put a 1" scope on.
