    Discrimination in the office
    Hello

Recently there was a re-structure and , atlhough I was told that my name appeared on the new org chart, I have not been sent the org chart to view the structure. Everyone that I have spoken to has viewed the org chart and where they 'fit' in the new structure. I have asked to view the chart and have been advised that this is not possible at this stage.

    Does this constitue discriminatory behaviour?

Also, I have constantly requested some project management training and this has been denied. Although I have been in the Computer Industry for over 20 years in a variety of roles (including Development Manager), and I have an MBA, Maths Degree and Dip Ed, my employer has decided that I should not receive any such formal PM training. Recently however, a student joined my section to acquire work experience as part of his university degree. I was also advised that this student will be the Project Manager of the project I am curerntly working on.

Does this constitute discriminatory behaviour ?

(I am female in a largely dominated male environment in the upper levels)

If it is because you are a women, and you can prove it is.

If it is because they just don't like you, they can do that, not fair but not illegal, If they are cutting perhaps higher paid employees, and bringing lower paid employees on board, normally they can do that also
