Put an ad in the paper. Advertise on the local radio. Put something on Craigslist. Hang fliers in supermarkets and such. Go around to businesses and talk with the owners about having them use your company. Use your imagination.

Starting a business is more than just getting the licenses and opening the doors. Advertising and gaining clients is really something you should have had figured out before you dumped money into this. It is just something that you will need to work around now and hopefully it can pick up for you.

    Agree with Odin.

Talk to everyone... everyone! Tell them what you are doing, if they cannot help then they may know someone who can.

Knock on as many doors as you can... daily. The 'push' now is to get a base of sales established, the 'spike' in you time at present is burning shoe leather.

For residential, do the same and distribute flyers in areas where you believe people might use a cleaning service.

My wife started a house cleaning business and we worked our butts off doing this. In a month she had 5 homes and serviced them well they gave her numerous leads. Four years later she sold the business with 55 homes and a crew of 12 workers for a very nice profit indeed.

    Service IS everything.

    Good luck,
