Have 220 fuse box for heat pump and want to add dryer to line. Box has black and white and ground. Dryer has black, red ,and white neutral and ground. When I tie into the line what do I do with the neutral from the dryer

BTW, it is 240VAC. Should be instructions on the dryer. You need the neutral for the dryer or you won't have any motor, control board or light. It won't work without a neutral. Search" wiring a 3 wire supply to a 4 wire dryer". Loads of diagrams. Basically you bond the dryer to ground. All newer dryers have 3 or 4 wire capability.
