    IPod Touch-Apple
All I ever used was a PC and a cell phone, an old fashioned one. Got an IPod for my b'day. Someone helped me put my music on it. Now I want to send
Photos to my FB a/c and check email. Can you help? Can you speak to me
Like I'm a 5 year old (I am a very senior) and technically challenged.

Also, I have a keyboard that pops up but don't I have to have some sort of contract before I can text someone. I never text in mylife.

A Ipod is a device that can play music file that you put on it. You can create play lists and later when you play it back it is like listening to a album.

A Ipad is a device you can use to communicate with others via cellphone connection or the internet through a connection called wifi.

    Hi there.

    1 - Wifi / Internet / Facebook
    2 - Email
    3 - Music & iTunes

1 - The Ipod cannot take a sim card so you will need to have wifi in order to access the internet/facebook/email...
If you are talking about the Iphone then you don't need wifi, just a sim card.

Once you have wifi, you will have to create a apple ID. You have to do this in order to download and install the Facebook app.
Go to the appstore app on the ipod. Click "Featured" bottom lest corner.
Scroll all the way down and click on "Sign In". Now select Create New Account.
Follow the steps the log into the appstore and download the Facebook app. With the app you can upload picture to Facebook.

2 - The email you will have to get the settings from your email service provider (POP / SMTP / Username and Password). If you have gmail / Yahoo or one of those, the device will do the setup for you.
Just go to settings - > Mail Contact calendars -> "Add Account"

3 - You need iTunes install on your computer for your computer to pickup and communicate with your ipod/iphone/ipad.
Once you sync your ipod to your computer it will be "Married" to your computer. The songs, pics... on your computer will be transferd to your ipod.
***If you sync your device to your friends computer IT WILL DELETE the stuff device and put his stuff on.

    Hope this helps
