    When I tried to play a tmp files with window media player, it says"Windows Media Play
    When I tried to play a tmp files with window media player, it says"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." What can I do to play this file?

    Tmp files are temporary files created by applications on your computer and are not media files.

    .tmp files aren't media files.
    They are temporary files created by applications on your computer.

    Mp3, avi, wma, jpg and others can be opened with media players but a tmp file will need another program to possibly convert it to the other file type
