How Do I Set the Hot and Cold Water Setting on My Shower Valve?
I have installed a new handle on my shower at home. However, when I turn the handle to the left - the water is cold. When I turn the handle to the right - the water is hot. I have a Moen shower system. Can anyone help me so that the hot water is activated by turning to the left and the cold water is activated by turning to the right?

I am not clear on what you want to do but you can reverse the action in a Moen valve by rotating the cartridge 180 degree. Tell us more and maybe your model number.

As Ballangerb advised, it is very easy fix with Moen faucets. Their design allow to correct this w/o even turning water off. Do as follows:

    1. Put handle in middle position
    2. Unscrew middle screw
    3. Remove handle
    4. Notice position of the stem
    5. Take pliers and turn it 180 degrees
    6. Reinstall handle, screw

    That should do...
