    Refrigerator defrost timer
My whirlpool refrigerator has a faulty timer # 850608. However this timer has a green wire connected to its side. The replacement timer that I was given (#482493) has no place to connect this green wire . What should I do ?

Melnjen- THE ( GREEN WIRE you are referring about should be a GROUND WIRE ): IT should come from the frame to the new timer; IF there is no place to connect it then just put it under the new one where it connects to the frame :: You find this problem on a lot of things now since they are made safer;; Good luck and GOD BLESS:: F.B.E.
