    Identification of two houseplants
Can anyone tell me the names of these plants?

#1 - deep purple leaves. Wandering vines. Small pint flowers. Leaves remain green with less exposure to sun. light fur covering leaves. Thick purple fragile, succulent-type stems that propagate easily. Elliptic leaves.

#2 - talk, scaly stalk. 1-2 feet high. Purple stems. Dark green leaves lined with purple or burgundy. Lanceolate leaves.

    WORKING ON PICTURES TO UPLOAD.

    Any ideas?

    Hello m:

#1 sounds like some sort of ivy. I ain't got a clue about #2. But, I'm flying blind here... A picture would help.

I'm not very good at explaining, but what I do is post and then click the 'paperclip' above and then add the pictures. Once you have attached them click the paper clip again and add 'all'.
I hope that helps:) and sorry:o for the lame instructions.

The second one looks like one of the types of the Wandering Jew plant.

Not sure about the one on the top yet...

The top plant might be one of the Cordyline fruticosa varieties. Not sure about that yet, though...

    MYSTERY SOLVED!

#1 Plant - Good Luck Plant (Cordyline fruticosa)
#2 Plant - Wandering Jew a.k.a. Purple Heart (Tradescantia pallida)

Thanks to Clough. Also, great source is Elisabeth C. Miller Library [[email protected]].

May all your houseplants thrive, grow and give you great delight.
