New (long-distance) Boyfriend. Coming on too strong?
So I recently met someone while on a trip for work. We really hit it off and had a lot in common (including we are both originally from around the same area). We hung out each night while I was at my conference and I even ended up staying a night more to be with him. Things progressed to long phone conversations after I returned home and this past weekend I went up to see him. I drove over 3 hours to spend just one night with him. It was amazing and we both know we click so well, but can I be coming on too strong?

I need some advice on how to make a long distance relationship work without being over bearing. Should I talk to him every day on the phone? Should I already be getting worried he might be tempted to cheat on me? I haven't had a serious boyfriend for around a year and am having a hard time remembering how to handle this type of situation. I really like him and could see myself with him in the long term, so I don't want to scare him off.

The phone every evening is fine because it's not like you see him all the time. As for the cheating on you thing, you need to learn trust if you want a healthy relationship (long distance or other-wise). Just treat it like your average relationship.. but try not to call him all the time and wait a long while before you spring "I love you" on him..:)

Obviously whatever you are doing is working he's talking to you on the phone you guys see each other. Go with your first instinct if you want to call him everyday call him everyday if you want to go see him every weekend go see him. Thinking twice is always what gets us girls in trouble, and another thing... If he likes you as much as it seems if you are rushing or calling too much I'm sure he will tell you in a gentle understanding way, I highly doubt that you'll call him 3 times in one day and all of a sudden he'll be like "Oh My God! You Are SOOOOOO Annoying... It's Over!"

I would say take it at the pase YOU want to take it he'll let you know if that's not the pase that he wants to take it. You may have been out of the game for a year but giiiiirl you know you still got it!! LOL LOL
