I was wondering if it's OK to take tylenol, motrin, etc while being pregnant for a headache?
Thanks in advance! :)

Please route all medications through your health care provider when pregnant.
When in doubt, call YOUR medical provider. You can also call a local hospital nurse service if available.
During my pregnancy, all that my doctor would let me take was Tylenol. I even had a cold, I was only allowed to take Tylenol cold, and have cough drops. As KP stated, call your doc. I do know that you should not take Motrin while you are pregnant, due to possible side efffects.
Tylenol Should be fine but I would stay away from the motrin or Ibprophen products.
Your doctor should have a list of safe medications to take while pregnant. I remember referring to the list again and again during my pregnancy. Tylenol is safe to take. Even though it was okay to take I was always careful and tried to not take it very often. Ice packs always worked great for headaches. I would wrap one up in a hand towel and place it on my head. It seemed to numb the pain and my headache usually went away without having to take any medications.
