Replaced my old garage door with a new roll up one and now can not open the door full as the opener is not far enough to pull the door all the way. Opener is in from of a support beam for 2nd floor.
Any Ideas or work around??

DELFEL, should do your question on a New(your own) post. Look through here:, and Ebay is on the list.

HK looks like a good solution.
If that doesn't work, looks like operator may work under the support beam(where old one was).
The track is just above the door, can't tell by picture if operator can be lowered?
Good ideas and I think I will try to do both.. raise the motor and lower the operator on the door side. I am not sure if it would be enough to pull the door all they way in.
My next option is a $300+ liftmaster jackshaft 3800 unless you know a place who sell them cheaper.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hey "Shorty Door" is this problem resolved
NOP - the only option that would really work is a $300+ liftmaster jackshaft 3800. Not ready to install yet.
Contact to the top Garage Door Opener. They will charge you little bucks but will do the great job.
