I was recently put on probation for the first time and it says that I can be randomly searched for weapons but the drugs and alcohol part was crossed out. Can I be randomly tested as I know it is illegal to use or posses drugs on probation or at any other time?:confused:

Even though it appears that they're not going to pull a random UA on you, I wouldn't trust 'em. I know 'em pretty good. Legally, they CAN do it, even if your particular conditions have it scratched out.

I can tell you this, if they do it, and you're dirty, your defense that it was crossed out ain't going to wash.

There is no such thing as "crossed out" stuff unless the JUDGE crosses it out, then it's a different story. But don't count on the Judge crossing out anything ever. Don't do the drugs as you will turn up dirty.
