Dell Latitude C600 won't turn on!
I have a Dell Latitude C600 laptop. I was on it the other day for a few hours and then shut it down. A few minutes later I went to go back on and the Dell screen appeared but it wouldn't go any further. I shut it down and tried turning it back on a few times and it still wouldn't go any further. I left it for about three hours and it turned on no problem. I assumed maybe it had overheated. After a period I shut if off. Many hours later I attempted to turn it on and the same thing happened, just wouldn't get past the Dell screen. I left it overnight and in the morning turned it on and it came on no problem. I was on about an hour and shut it off. About half hour later I went to turn it back on and again it wouldn't get past the screen. Any suggestions? The battery is totally dead on it but I have it plugged in. Thank you

Not sure on this one, but I have a dell laptop. You might try replacing the laptop. I bought my battery on eBay and got it for an reasonable price. Is there a short in your cord-I did have that problem and couldnt' get my computer to turn on. Up at the top where it plugs in is where my short was. I also bought that on eBay. Hopefully it helps a little, I think I would check the cord first.

Never thought of that! The cord appears to be OK but you never know. With the battery being totally dead, could that have anything to do with it even though it is plugged in? :)
