How close can a jupiter like planet be to an earth ?
If there is a system with a brighter star and ONLY 2 planets.

Can the MUCH bigger planet be the first planet and the earth like planet be second in the planet ?

Ganymede orbits Jupiter at approximately 1.07 million kilometers. Any bodies of such mass will become satellites. How long it takes is a matter of mathematics.

Sure, it's possible, just as there are smaller planets beyond Jupiter's orbit.
