    Future Grad school on resume?
    I'm attending a career fair next week at my undergraduate institute(I'm a senior right now). I know that in September, I will be attending graduate school at another college to get my Master's. Should I put that on my resume? If so, what should it look like?

    Right now, the education part of my resume looks like:

    /**********************************************

    Education

    B.S. Computer Science
    My college right now
    Expected date of graduation: June 2007

    ***********************************************/

    How would I add something like grad school if I haven't started attending it?

    Future Education

    M.S. Computer Science
    Future college
    Expected start date: September 2007
    Expected date of graduation: June 2009

    Would that work? Should I even add this to my resume? Thanks!

    A resume reflects the skills that you have and what you have done. Not what you will do. It is an ad to sell yourself to a company by the things that you have done for other companies. Putting the place and what you will be studying is not something that I would place on a resume. Also, objective statements are out of vogue right now. Employers are not interested in what you want to do. They are interested in what you can do for them.

    It is though, something that you could bring up in conversation at a career fair, as far as selling yourself when speaking with people. Such as: "In addition to my resume I will be furthering my studies in pursuit of... so that I can better serve companies in the capacity of..."

    It may also be of benefit to word your intentions of graduate school and what you will be studying, concerning how that will benefit their company, into a cover letter for a potential employer.

    Companies want to know how you can best serve them.
