    Position of earth
What is the position of earth when the day is longer than night in the southern hemisphere?

Think about how the tilt of the Earth causes either the northern or southern hemisphere to be tipped toward the sun - and hence have longer days than nights - while the other hemisphere is tipped away from the sun - and hence has shorter days and longer nights.

    Relative to it's axis?
Go to wikipedia and search equinoxes, earth rotation, earth axis... then figure it out. There's no point in someone just handing you an answer. We only help.
