What food do you prefer to be healthy and fit?
Oatmeal, fruit and VEGGIES!!
No meat, no fast food. Less sugar and salt
Nothing frozen in a box with tons of chemicals and sodium. My spouse does the Paleo diet and swears by it. The whole family does tons of fruits and vegetables and we exercise a ton as well.
Balance.
Know what you're eating and what is in it. Avoid processed foods if possible. Avoid overly sugared foods, for example, pop, fruit juices, and sweets. Eat a good combination of fruits, veggies, grains, diary, and meat.
Also know your activity level so you can modify your diet to fit your activity level. Don't over eat or under eat.
