    What pills should I take?
    Hi,

    I had the last date of my periods on 9th of this month... My husband was out of town all these days.But he is back today and we ended up with unprotected sex.Please let me know which contraceptory pill should I take so that I don't get pregnant.Please help.I am woried.

    You could talk to your doc about plan B, but you can only take it within 48 hours of intercourse

    The morning after pill is usually effective up to 72 hours after sex, though the sooner it is taken the better. Ask the pharmacist (depending on where you live) or at your doctors surgery. They will be able to advise better.

    The morning after pill creates a chemically induced abortion if one wishes not to get pregnant.

    Just ask your doc for the morning after pill. That is how it is commonly known.
