    Continual Boiler Pressure Drop
    Hi

I have a Baxi Combi Instant Boiler that I had installed in 2003. Its serial no is: MBH0330. I seem to have a constant problem with the water pressure in the sense that I have to top it up every morning as its always dropped to zero. Ive checked all the rads and I can't find any obvious leaks, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do before going to the expense of calling someone out. As I recall the boiler pressure has always dropped in the past, but usually only once every 4-5 months, but this seems to have escalated into a daily thing now.

I don't know if this is related but Ive got problems with gas pressure in the house generally too, and Transco are about to dig up my road again to fix it. Also I am also investigating my massive gas bill: eek:... is there any link between low water pressure and extra gas needed to fire the boiler..

I would be VERY grateful for any help...

    Many thanks

If the water pressure drops to zero and you have an air pcket in the lines, it will use more fuel. I can't begin to guess where the leak could be, everything will just need to be pressure tested if sign of leak is not visible
